3rd ODI, November 10

In the deciding ODI of the three-match series, Bangladesh Women made a stunning comeback after losing the first ODI, clinching the series 2-1.

In the final ODI, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first, with Sadaf Shamas and Sidra Ameen giving them a solid, albeit slow start. However, after the fall of Shamas, Pakistan struggled to get going and eight further wickets fell around Sidra Ameen, who remained 84 not out, scoring more than half of Pakistan's runs by the end of the innings. Nahida Akter was the pick of the bowlers, bowling three maidens in a spell of 3-26, and starting the implosion with Shamas's wicket.

The chase started with a circumspect century stand, with Fargana Hoque and Murshida Khan scoring fifties, and Nashra Sandhu picked up both the openers within two overs, Fahima Khatun was run-out at the non-striker's end, turning it into a mini-collapse from 125-0 to 128-3 in 13 balls. However, Nigar Sultana and Sobhana Mostary carried them through with a 39-run stand, winning the contest with seven wickets and 26 balls to spare.

Brief Scores: Pakistan Women 166-9 in 50 overs (Sidra Ameen 84*, Nahida Akter 3-26) lost to Bangladesh Women 167-3in 45.4 overs (Fargana Hoque 62, Murshida Khatun 45, Nashra Sandhu 2-27)by 7 wickets

2nd ODI, November 7

Bangladesh beat Pakistan in a thrilling contest in Dhaka to level the series 1-1. Batting first, Bangladesh were boosted by a solid stand between Fargana Hoque and Nigar Sultana. Runs were extremely hard to come by though as Bangladesh had only 92 on the board when Fargana departed for 40. Skipper Nigar managed to bring up a patient half-century but from 119/3, things went downhill for Bangladesh as Pakistan staged a strong comeback to restrict their opponents to 169/9.

Even though the Pakistan openers added 41 for the first wicket, Bangladesh kept striking regularly in the middle overs. At least five batters managed to go past 20 but none of them stayed longer to see their side home. Pakistan still appeared to have the game in their bag at 153/6 before Bangladesh stormed back in style to bowl them out for 169 and force a tie.

In the Super Over, Pakistan were stunned when Iram Javed was bowled off the very first ball. While they managed to add 7 runs post that wicket, Bismah Maroof got run out off the penultimate ball. Bangladesh hit the first ball of the Super Over for a boundary but lost a wicket when they needed 2 from the final 2 balls, forcing a thrilling climax. Fortunately for the home side, Nigar put away the final ball for a boundary to give her side a memorable win.

Brief scores: Bangladesh Women 169/9 ni 50 overs (Nigar Sultana 54, Fargana Hoque 40; Nashra Sandhu 2/27) tied with Pakistan Women 169 in 49.5 overs (Sadaf Shamas 29; Rabeya Khan 3/29) - Bangladesh won the Super Over

1st ODI, November 4

An all-round effort from captain Nida Dar in a game where spinners dominated helped Pakistan sink Bangladesh to take a 1-0 lead in the ODI series. Bangladesh were bundled out for just 81 runs in 31.5 overs as Dar bagged three wickets for just 10 runs in 6 overs while left-arm spinner Sadia Iqbal picked 4 for 13. All 10 Bangladesh wickets belonged to spinners as Umm-e-Hani, another off-break bowler, picked the other three scalps. In a sorry scorecard, Fahima Khatun's 18 was the best effort.

Pakistan were made to work a little hard for the small total as they lost half their side before getting over the line in the 25th over. Bangladesh's left-arm spinner Nahida Akter rattled Pakistan by dismantling the top-order but Dar arrived to straighten the mess. She scored 35 of the 85 that her team made to secure the victory.

Brief Scores: Bangladesh 81 in 31.5 overs (Fahima Khatun 18; Sadia Iqbal 4-13, Nida Dar 3-10, Umm-e-Hani 3-20) lost to Pakistan 85/5 in 24.5 overs (Nida Dar 35*; Nahida Akter 3-30) by 5 wickets
